TechNova Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") understands that circumstances may change. This Cancellation Policy explains the process and conditions for cancelling a service engagement with TechNova.
1. Cancellation by the Client
You may request to cancel your service engagement at any time by contacting us. The terms of the cancellation depend on the stage of the project:
a) Before Work Commences
- If you cancel within 24 hours of payment and before any work has started, you are eligible for a full refund.
- No cancellation fee applies in this scenario.
b) During Initial Phase (Planning & Design)
- If cancellation is requested after the project planning or initial design phase has started, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total project cost may apply.
- Any work completed up to the point of cancellation will be delivered to the client.
c) During Development Phase
- If cancellation is requested after significant development work has been completed, no refund will be provided.
- All completed deliverables up to the cancellation date will be handed over to the client.
d) After Project Delivery
- Once the project has been delivered and accepted (or deemed accepted after the review period), cancellation is not applicable.
- Ongoing services (such as AMC) can be cancelled for the next billing period with 30 days written notice.
2. How to Request Cancellation
To cancel a service, please:
- Send an email to support@technovapvtltd.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request - [Your Order/Invoice Number]".
- Include your full name, contact details, order/invoice details, and reason for cancellation.
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and process it within 3-5 business days.
3. Cancellation by TechNova
TechNova reserves the right to cancel a service engagement under the following circumstances:
- Non-payment or delayed payment beyond the agreed terms.
- Non-cooperation or repeated failure by the client to provide required materials, approvals, or access credentials within reasonable timelines.
- If the project scope involves illegal, unethical, or harmful content.
- If continued service delivery poses a legal or operational risk to the company.
In such cases, TechNova will provide written notice to the client and settle any refund obligations as per the Refund Policy.
4. Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) Cancellation
- AMC services can be cancelled by providing 30 days written notice before the next billing cycle.
- No pro-rata refund will be issued for the remaining period of the current billing cycle.
- All services will continue until the end of the current billing period after cancellation notice is received.
5. Effect of Cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- All ongoing work will be stopped as of the cancellation date.
- Any completed work product will be delivered to the client.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per our Refund Policy.
- Confidentiality obligations from both parties will continue to apply.
- Any third-party subscriptions or services purchased on behalf of the client will be transferred or cancelled as per the client's instruction.
6. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for cancellation or delay caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, internet outages, or other force majeure events.
7. Amendments
TechNova reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
